Clinton tells it straight in supporting Sestak

Bill Clinton lambasted the ideologue Republicans who are screwing up our country and described how people like Joe Sestak are ready to take the lead on restoring America to greatness. Way to go Bubba!
Sestak gave a short speech and posed the questions to Clinton: What has gone wrong in the last 5 1/2 years?
Clinton centered on the notion that a "narrow strip of Republicans"- the ideologues, have been ignoring the facts and evidence about the Iraq War, the Katrina aftermath, that the richer are
getting richer while the poor suffer and the middle class is eroding, that people are losing their healthcare. The ideologues are not reality-based - they stay with their beliefs even when they are wrong.
Clinton said we have to get back to reality-based government and we have to restore our position in the world by making more friends than enemies.
With all the efforts we can muster, Clinton implored us to take Joe Sestak's message to the voters and get him elected. We'll do it Bubba!

My wife and I do volunteer work for Sestak and were at the fundraiser yesterday. We have heard Joe several times previously and he was impressive. He did the right thing yesterday by letting Clinton take center stage. THis is the first time we had been privileged to hear Clinton in person and what a memorable experience it was! The man spoke from the heart, with no discernable notes, succinct, perceptive and persuasive. If Clinton came up to me personally and asked me to do something for him, I would almost do anything for the mesmerizing, great man. To think that the Republicans wasted all that time and taxpayers' money to impeach CLinton is a national disgrace. Bush invaded a couintry under false pretenses, but he remains in office, continuing to destroy this country, both from inside and outside. Go fogure. Sestak's victory will be the start of a majority of Americans waking up, figuring it out, and restoring America to its once leadership position in the world community.

Thank you for volunteering. I know that Joe is very grateful to all of is who have manned phones, written letters, canvassed etc.
We have precious few weeks left to get the message out to those who have been occupied elsewhere in the last 8 months.
