I wasn't able to see the debate in person, so I went to the CBS3 website and watched it from start to finish.

Then I read Bill Bender's article and I wondered what debate he was watching. How could he possibly say this:

Weldon fought back, yet kept his cool throughout most of the hour-long debate...

"Kept his cool"? Weldon did nothing of the sort. He was angry, combative and confrontational from the get-go.

Curt was an egotistical, bombastic career politician for the most part, spouting a litany of "I did this" and "I did that" and taking credit for virtually anything of substance that's happened in the Delaware Valley over the past two decades.

Meanwhile, Joe maintained his cool and talked about his vision for the 7th District and for America.

The difference between the two men -- and the superiority of Joe Sestak -- was obvious throughout.

I could not agree wiht this poster more. Weldon's an egocentric self-promoter. He calls himself a uniter, but if you are a democrat in the 7th, ask yourself what problem you had that did not fit wiht his or his party's agenda that he helped you with. Can't think of one can you? Anyway, I am shocked to hear that "he" passed FMLA. Soemone needs to research that. The way he downs the Clinton administration, I can't believe he was out in forn on that. If he voted for it, it was because it is only because it is one of those things that you can't be against.

Its true, I researched it before. The newspaper stories fromm the time even note that he was a co-author of the Family Medical Leave Act
