Former FBI / Weldon's Private Investigator Gregory Auld sings Auld Lang Syne
Digging a little deeper into the recent Delco Times story about Weldon's source for the leak about the investigation, something else is fishy. Seems that Weldon's former FBI agent source is a private investigator named Gregory Auld who has been paid $25,000 (so far) by Weldon's campaign.
So Weldon pays a PI for "Research" and he comes up with this?
From the Delco Times:
First off, why didn't Weldon identify that his "source" was a private investigator that his campaign hired?
Second, why does Weldon even have a PI working on his campaign? What kind of bull is this? Sounds like typical Republican tried-and-wrong dirty tricks.
Third, Weldon paid $25K for a heresay report from a guy named "Grumpy" at a gym? Then his hired PI denies the story to the press? Is Weldon going to ask for a refund?
It all smells bad!
This latest contraversy is well-covered in Bill Bender's Delco Times article today too.
According to this page, the words "auld lang syne" can be translated to "times gone by" or "old long since". Hopefully, we'll look back on the work of Auld and say "times gone by" to Weldon's time in Congress in a few weeks.
So Weldon pays a PI for "Research" and he comes up with this?
From the Delco Times:
Weldon has charged that the investigation was timed to inflict maximum damage on his re-election campaign. Speaking to reporters after a House Aviation Subcommittee meeting Wednesday afternoon, he said the retired FBI agent, Gregory Auld, confirmed the night before that a Sestak worker "was bragging that three weeks ago they knew this was going to come down."
"That, to me, is absolutely outrageous," Weldon said. "If that occurred, it means that someone in the Justice Department was coordinating whatever was happening with a political campaign."
Except it didn’t happen, according to Auld, who told an entirely different story.
"No, that’s not what happened," he said in a phone interview, when asked about Weldon’s statements.
Auld, a retired FBI agent from Drexel Hill, said a man at a local gym - he refers to him as "Grumpy" because he doesn’t know his name - told him Tuesday that another man in a Sestak shirt said three weeks ago that "something big" would happen to Weldon last weekend. Auld then approached the Sestak supporter, who told him, "We kind of sniffed this out."
"I said, ‘You guys knew about this?’ and he didn’t say anything," Auld said, adding that it was the other man, "Grumpy," who said he had heard from the Sestak worker that "something big was going to come down on Weldon."
"He didn’t say, ‘We knew,’ he just said, ‘We sniffed it out,’" Auld said of his conversation with the latter individual.

So, your not going to post anything about the ass kicking that your puppet got in Springfield today? Figures.
Yet another vague, anonymous smear from a pathetic, anonymous Weldon goon.
Vague? The debate or rather lack of, was anything but Vague. Sestak did not even answer his questions with relevant, sensible answers. He was reading from note cards and was proved wrong again and again. I think an Adam Sandler movie said it best,
"At no point in your rambling, did you even come close to an intelligent thought. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
As for the Anonymous part, why provide a "Blogger" the option of posting Anonymously if your just going to make stupid comments about it? It just does not make sense, similar to Joe earlier this afternoon.
Ryan, the goon is possibly referring to today's debate in Springfield, where Corrupt Curt was on the ropes for nearly the entire event. The truth-impaired GOP will attempt to claim Corrupt Curt's pathetic, bloodied showing at the debate was a "victory," just like their absurd story about how the CIA, the NSA, the FBI, and "Grumpy at the Gym" are all out to get Corrupt Curt. What we're seeing with Corrupt Curt are the last, desperate days of a petty, greedy thug realizing he soon will have to pay the price for his sins. His goons are realizing they've backed the wrong horse, and no petty little schoolyard taunt is beneath them now.
He was reading from note cards
Well, that's a huge crime: going prepared into a debate with research and facts at your fingertips. That's certainly better than spinning "facts" out of midair, like Weldon does, while staring vaguely at the ceiling. I guess no one has ever told Weldon the classic "tell" of a liar is when he looks up and left, where Curt spends much of his time gazing.
and was proved wrong again and again
No, he wasn't. Just more vague, unsubstantiated smears from the desperate Weldon camp.
You Weldonites are really desperate now. Anyone who attended the debate or saw the webcast knows the truth: the admiral mopped the floor with the crook.
Again with the Vague, ask Ed Rendell about unsubstantiated smears, Curt proved him wrong with information off of Ed Rendell's website about the state of the economy in Delco, among other things! I guess the standing ovation and WELDON chants at the end of the debate were for.....who? Oh yeah, for Curt. Joe is just a puppet that was put there and is totally outclassed.
Would sumoebody just slap the weldon trolls. The "curt cheers" were becaus eyou had to be a member of the chmaber ot go, and the chamber endorsed him. The crowd at teh debate appeared very small form the shots on the web.
Why did Curt wimp out of the LWV debate? The only debates he will appear at are closed debates, wher ethe ngeneral public cannot appear. Wonder why?
WELDON chants at the end
Do you actually think anyone will believe this was orchestrated by anyone other than Weldon's campaign?
If Curt is so popular, why is he lagging more and more behind with every poll?
"Why did Curt wimp out of the LWV debate? The only debates he will appear at are closed debates, wher ethe ngeneral public cannot appear. Wonder why?"
Because animals like the ones standing outside Springfield Country Club ALL with negative Weldon signs will come and never give the chance for a civilized debate to happen, nothing would be accomplished. How pathetic is that, there was not ONE Sestak supporter outside, only anti-Weldon signs, but the Weldon supporters were in full force, not one of them had a negative sign for Sestak, and it's not because of lack of options, it was because we are not a bunch of primates, standing outside chanting stupid rhymes and waving fingers. Face it, you guys can't do anything in a civilized fashion, and what does the venue have to do with who wins or loses a debate? The fact that Curt won has nothing to do with the audience or the establishment.
"WELDON chants at the end

Actually, smart guy, I think he gained two points since the last poll, right....no? Go ahead guys/gals, take refuge in the poll numbers, they are always right. The poll numbers have proven again and again to be totally inaccurate. Im sure John Kerry can give you a lesson on that.
"think he gained two points since
the last poll, right."
Sounds like Weldon's unreleased internal polls show him still losing this far out. Can't wait to see how Joe is really ahead when next Keystone Poll comes out. Anyway, anonymous weldon staffer, thanks for the info.
BTW--The weldon trolls still are not answering why Weldon backed out of the LWv debates and will ony debate where he can control the room, the chants and the questions.
I give you my word, take it for what it is worth, I am NOT a Weldon staffer. I also, though, have a life outside of online, but it was good to report on the debate because I know you will not.
"take it for what it is worth"
It's worth nothing. We are not fooled.
If you would like to see a throng of Sestak supporters at a Weldon-Sestak debate, simply convince Curt to participate in a public open debate. I'm sure Sestak supporters be there in force.
So... Weldon has more support based on the people who supported him at a closed debate held by people who endorsed him... but a public debate is impossible "Because animals like the ones standing outside Springfield Country Club ALL with negative Weldon signs will come and never give the chance for a civilized debate to happen, nothing would be accomplished." Nice...
Why does Weldon only want to debate Joe in the middle of the day???? YYou know, Joe's supporters all work, unlike Weldon's supporters who are spawn of the machine and cronyism and working no-show county jobs or for businesses that received business through the County machine and Curt's lobbying buddies.
like the ones standing outside Springfield Country Club ALL with negative Weldon signs
When you're a corrupt Congressman being investigated by the FBI, who's raiding the homes of your family members and cronies, you tend to attract negative attention.
The most recent independent poll, conducted on October 8-10, 2006, before the Weldon scandals hit the press and before the FBI raids, shows Sestak leading Weldon among likely voters at 52 percent to 44 percent. If you click on my name, you'll be taken to a comprehensive document with all the poll results.
It's a pretty safe bet that spread will widen in light of Weldon's deeping legal woes. (As a point of comparison, the largest Kerry-Bush spread this close to the election was three percent, which was within generally accepted margins of error.)
Weldon, according to Tom Flocco is in deeper trouble than an ethics charge on helping his daughter out.

The House of Weldon including Sexton, Fivorvanti, Gallagher, Karen, and the rest of them is crumbling... And to those who have said I am a newbie to this scandal?
I've been watching Curt for years.
Tom Flocco is a fringe nutball who panders to the tinfoil-hat conspiracy crowd. I'm a strong Joe Sestak supporter and think Weldon is corrupt and should be sent packing, but I would not give any weight to anything Flocco says about Weldon, or anybody else for that matter.
Hilarious! Just think about it... The guy that's going to represent you (well, hopefully not) can't even pick up the right card to read from. PA-07 may be on to a new adventure!
