Weldon resorts to faking 7th district supporters
You know you're desperate when you can't even find ten regular voters in your district to vouch for you.
In an email today from the Weldon Victory Committee, Curt claimed that the recent FBI probe into his dealings with his daughter's lobbying firm are nothing but a left-wing conspiracy. As we all know, the FBI is just riddled with liberals run amok!
In the email, ten purported 7th district voters offered their support to their beseiged incumbent legislator:
That wouldn't be Lousiana Bobby Savoie who has worked for years as a bigtime political fundraiser? And who uses his gigantic donations to cobble influence with politicians in both political parties to help his businesses, like Apogen, that rely on defense, Homeland Security, and other GSA contracts? (Because, as we all know, good Democrats frequently make $25,000 contributions to organizations like the Republican National Committee, which THAT Bobby Savoie has done.)
That wouldn't be the same Bobby Savioe who quietly vanished from one of his companies when a Republican Senator (Grassley, R-Iowa) reported that Savoie's firm was improperly misusing a government contract, would it?
It wouldn't be the same Bobby Savoie who has made donations to Curt's campaign and his PAC...from his home...in Lousisana?
It must be, because we can't find a Bobby Savoie who lives in Pennsylvania's 7th district in the phone book.
Wouldn't it be ironic if Curt used an ethically-hobbled millionaire donor to make the case that Curt hasn't been unduly influenced by his very own money?
Curt's email closes:

Subject: 7th District Voters Speak Out for Curt Weldon!
"Even a good Democrat like myself recognizes this "investigation" for what it is. Don't let it get to you. We'll win this one because Curt has earned another term!"

Cleary the voters on the 7th District are not buying last minute attempts to smear Curt Weldon.Clearly, the voters of the 7th District are not who Curt thinks we are.

Actually he only has a cell phone and it is rumored he is the Bobby Savoie who has been having a sex affair with Sestak for the last 40 years....
See what happens when you use rumor, innuendo or guesses as part of a smear campaign? Not being listed in a phone book....thanks for the hoot.
So where's Bobby? Prove that he really lives in the district. The burden of proof is on you, since you trotted out this alleged supporter no one seems to able to find. (Maybe he's hunkered down in the gym with "Grumpy.")
Bobby Savoie is not just a random name. He's a famous big money political donor who has been cited many times over the years for raising a lot of money in an effort to make friends in high places.
And on October 3, he made a $1000 donation to the Weldon Victory Committee. Source: www.tray.com. Address: LA, not PA.
Let's stop guessing and somebody run him thru the voter database.

Well, there is a 7 in his zip-code..
See what happens when you use rumor, innuendo or guesses
This from the campaign that races to the media with news flashes from "Grumpy at the gym."
Checking http://www.fundrace.com, a comprehensive database of political donors, pulled from FEC records, there are two Robert Savoie's listed, one in Louisiana and one in San Francisco. The Louisiana one has given $25K to both the RNC and the DNC.
Checking Zaba.com, which is a comprehensive database of everyone in the country registered to vote and/or who owns real estate, there are no Robert Savoie's or Bobby Savoie's listed in Pennsylvania.
Checking USSearch.com, another comprehensive database of everyone in the country registered to vote and/or who owns real estate, there are no Robert Savoie's or Bobby Savoie's listed in Pennsylvania.
Such conclusively proves -- the specious claims of rumor, innuendo or guesses aside -- there is no Robert or Bobby Savoie registered to vote in Pennsylvania.
Maybe we can send "Grumpy at the gym" out to find him.
OK, he is an illegal alien which means the left should embrace him....after all they are about to become their new base once unions go out of business.
Sestak doesn't live in the 7th either,he's from Virginia.
Robert Savoie is not an "illegal alien". He's just someone that lives in Loisianna.
As for Sestak, he's from Springfield, owned a house in Virginia while he worked for the Navy, then he retired, and now he lives here.
